Handcrafted in Tunis Village, Fayoum, Abdel Sattar shapes clay using techniques passed down since ancient Egypt, before finishing each piece with the Japanese raku firing technique introduced to the village in the ninety’s.
A community man, Abdel Sattar shapes the clay alongside his sons who fire the kilns.
